The Lions SightFirst Foundation of Southern Nevada is a major-service program of Lions District 46.
It is the successor organization to the Southern Nevada Lions Sight Conservation Committee, which was
reorganized in 2005 to accommodate more extensive programs that are totally free-of-charge to the recipients.
Most, if not all, of the eye care projects of Lions clubs in southern Nevada are now conducted by LSF
thus, making it much easier and faster for the disadvantaged, the uninsured, and the underinsured to
receive care.
The foundation receives no monies from the government. It is funded by Lions clubs in southern Nevada, and by private individuals. It also offers “Fellow” awards to honor deserving persons, designated by Lions clubs.
